Bud vase turned by hand from purpleheart wood.
 
Available is a beautiful hand turned vase made from purpleheart wood. Although we do not normally use non-native timbers for our pieces, this purpleheart along with some other non-native woods were gifted to us by a neighbour whose father used to make rocking horses and these had been in his workshop for decades.

Wood is a natural material, and can be given to move or split. This can be particularly so where exposed to a lot of heat or dampness. This is all part of the beauty of owning a piece made from this wonderful organic material.
